Opening: 20 hr/week graduate assistant Research Assisstant to work in the University Writing Center for Fall 2022- Spring 2023 and help with research under the leadership of the faculty Director. The applicant will be interviewed and need to provide writing samples, professional references, and a resume, highlighting writing experiences and experiences with tutoring, and demonstrate knowledge in various citation styles, grammar and mechanics, and writing as a process. The UWC works with student writing from all of the courses and disciplines across campus and with undergraduate and graduate student writing. We also perform information sessions and workshops for students and specific classes as requested. This graduate student will also need to show previous research experience.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per fall and spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per fall and spring semester. Please contact Patricia Pytleski for additional information if needed at pytleski@kutztown.edu.
