The graduate assistant will assist the SID with coverage of 22 NCAA Division II varsity sports. Responsible for comprehensive website management, to include feature stories, event previews, game stories, scores, statistics, rosters, schedules and archival program information including photo archives. Game management responsibilities will include score table and press box management, operating in-game scoring statistical programs, post-game score reporting, event recaps, press releases, media relations and day-to-day office operations. Assist with oversight of the Kutztown's official athletics social media platforms and the creation of engaging content for each. The graduate assistant will be required to work many of the hours associated with the sports information profession, including nights and weekends. Oversight of specific sports, as assigned by the Sports Information Director.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per spring semester. Please contact Matt Heffelfinger for additional information if needed at heffelfi@kutztown.edu.
