Assists in the development and delivery of programs and services. The experience provides the student with an understanding of college students’ career development process while developing their career counseling, marketing/social media, communication, technology, administrative, and organizational skills. Responsibilities include social media and newsletter management; one-on-one career counseling; workshop presentations; reviews (mock interview, resume, and cover letter feedback); and assistance planning the Education Job Fair and other large-scale campus events. Applicants must demonstrate prior helping skills, a desire to assist students, strong communication, attention to detail, and administrative tasks.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Kerri Gardi for additional information if needed at gardi@kutztown.edu.
