    Graduate Assistant - TRIO SSP Academic Jeopardy & Events Coordin

    The Graduate Assistant needs to have had previous experience with diverse populations and the ability to easily build rapport with low-income, first-generation, and disabled individuals. The person must be organized, creative, and willing to help students experiencing difficulty with academic success. Good communication skills, written and oral, are required. Students in counseling, student affairs, education, business, social work and other related fields are preferred. The GA must be available to work additional hours outside the 20 hours/week for the Graduate Assistantship and will be compensated for this time on an hourly basis.

    This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the fall and spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Loriann Irving for additional information if needed at irving@kutztown.edu.
