The Web Design and User Experience Graduate Assistant will support the center by helping clients understand how their website supports the sales and operational goals outlined in their business plan. Responsibilities include reviewing client websites, identifying usability gaps, and helping clients connect business objectives to website structure, content, and user flow. The GA will assist clients in understanding how website design, navigation, and calls to action support lead generation, customer engagement, and conversion goals. This role also includes supporting clients as they plan or improve their websites using common website design platforms. The GA will help clients understand best practices related to user experience, accessibility, content organization, and mobile responsiveness. Strong visual communication skills, creativity, and comfort using website design tools are essential. Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or similar tools is preferred. The ideal candidate has a background in a creative field such as design, marketing, or digital media and is able to clearly explain design concepts in a business focused and practical way. This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.
