    Graduate Assistant - General Registration

    Definition of Position:

    The Graduate Assistant position in the Registrar’s Office is an opportunity for a full-time graduate level student to assist with processes related to Banner transition, major changes, automation. The GA will report to the Registrar.

    Job Duties:

    • Change of major processing, help to streamline process
    • Scanning transition
    • Banner cleanup (manual adjustments related to changes, et al)
    • General automation transition assistance
    • Provide front desk coverage as needed
    • Other administrative duties as assigned, including data cleanup, data entry.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to work in a high-volume office with excellent customer service skills. This includes answering telephones and greeting students at the front desk with a professional, helpful attitude.
    • The ability to prioritize and change priorities in an organized manner.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Knowledge of Banner SIS (optional)

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit, stand and walk. Ability to use a computer.

    Work Schedule:

    This position requires 13.3 hours per week, or 200 hours per semester, Days and times to be determined.

    This position is for 13.3 hours/week of work (200 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 6 graduate credits plus a stipend of $2500 per semester.  Please contact Ben Trout for additional information if needed at trout@kutztown.edu.
