University Writing Center is offering a 20 hr/week graduate assistantship in the University Writing Center for the spring 2022 semester. The applicant will be interviewed and need to provide writing samples, professional references, and a resume, highlighting writing experiences and experiences with tutoring, and demonstrate knowledge in various citation styles, grammar and mechanics, and writing as a process. The UWC works with student writing from all of the courses and disciplines on campus and with undergraduate and graduate student writing. We also perform information sessions and workshops for students and specific classes as requested. This position provides for a waiver of tuition for nine credits of graduate tuition plus a stipend of $3,750 for the spring semester.
