The Biology Graduate Lab Assistant will assist instructors in BIO 010 Introduction to Biology (for non-science majors) and/or BIO 012 Introduction to Biology: Human Biology (for non-science majors), and BIO 104 Principles of Biology (for majors) in preparing laboratories. This will include making solutions, setting up and taking down laboratories, maintaining living materials such as plants and cultures of microorganisms, and inventorying and organizing laboratory materials. In BIO 104, the Graduate Assistant would work on lab setup in collaboration with the Biology Lab Technician. The Grad Assistant will set up regular hours in the Biology Digital Imaging Lab to support student use of technology as time in her/his schedule allows
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per fall and spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per fall and spring semester. Please contact Christopher Sacchi for additional information if needed at sacchi@kutztown.edu.
