This position is for Fall and Spring
FALL:
To assist with course management system, help with student success, time management, and test taking skills for students), and assist with data collection for small qualitative research project. The GA will work with Dr. Deryl Johnson and two sections of Introduction to Theatre. Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-3 and 3-4:30. The GA will also hold office hours. Since KU does not have a theatre program, no experience with Theatre is required, however it is value added.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the fall semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Deryl Johnson for additional information if needed at johnson@kutztown.edu.
SPRING:
Graduate Assistant (GA) sought for large format survey courses in Art History. Responsibilities included co-managing the D2L course management system; providing assistance with student success, time management, and test taking skills; and contributing to qualitative feedback on assignments. The GA will work with Dr. Daniel Haxall in two sections of ARH: 026 Art History C (1850 – Today), which meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00pm-1:15pm and 1:30pm-2:45pm during the Spring 2024 semester. The GA will also hold office hours. Prior experience with the discipline of Art History is not required but preferred, while experience as a Learning or Research Assistant, or within the arts in any capacity, is value added.
