This position requires excellent communication skills including public speaking, interpersonal, teamwork, and written communication. GA should be able to work independently as well as collaborate. Ideally the GA will have knowledge of the needs of undergraduates with financial need, academic need, and/or need for social support. Experience working with first generation students and students from diverse backgrounds is preferred. GA should be able to learn new software as well as have a solid foundation in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Lisa Weckerle for additional information if needed at weckerle@kutztown.edu.
