    Graduate Assistant - University Marketing

    The Graduate Assistant will support KU’s University Marketing team in efforts to attract new students and engage current students, parents, alumni, and the local community. The role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and proficiency in digital media, including  photography and photo editing. Social Media Content Creation - Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging social  media content, plan campaigns, write copy, and produce simple photography/video. Monitor platform analytics to track engagement. -Photography & Editing - Capture high-quality images for marketing, event coverage, and promotional content. The assistant will edit and enhance photos using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to align with KU’s brand. - Writing & Content Development- Assist in crafting compelling marketing copy for  print, digital ads, KU’s website, and event coverage. - Strategy & Project Management - Support project planning, organize photo/video shoots, and coordinate with university departments for smooth execution.

    This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Arielle Marcum for additional information if needed at marcum@kutztown.edu.
