1. Administrative: a. Provide support, leadership and management for the daily functioning of the office, including student work assignments (Create lists of work for student workers and prioritize assignments, track status and completion). b. Maintain a social media presence. c. Assists with the coordination of student organization publicity requests and solicitation approval process d. Assist with the assessment of student needs and satisfaction with services and programs provided by the Office of Student Involvement, MSU. e. Advise students in the use and application of Engage. f. Contribute to the success of the food insecurity initiatives through stocking, organizing, shopping, educating and planning meaningful events. 2. Develop, research, and complete special projects including but not limited to: a. Assist and/or coordinate assessment and / or research projects for departmental programs and services b. Represent the department at various events, panels, committee meetings and advisory groups as needed. 3. Assist the Assistant Director for Greek Life (AD-GL) in the management of The Greek Life Program. a. **With the AD-GL, coordinate the recruitment processes for Multicultural Greek Council, College Panhellenic Council and Kutztown fraternal Council b. Advise / Attend the United Greek Council, College Panhellenic Council and Kutztown Fraternal Council meetings (as class schedules allow), regularly advise one of the councils in their event planning and leadership development. c. Attend Greek Life events as determined by AD-GL. d. Assist in the nominations and elections process e. With the AD-GL, coordinate Hazing Prevention Week and Greek Week and sorority recruitment. f. Participate in assessment/benchmarking efforts to enhance the Greek Life experience g. Coordinate Gamma Sigma Alpha and Greek Life Awards selection process, induction ceremony planning and execution h. Provide additional support as necessary 4. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Senior Director and Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours spring 2025 semester only), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 for the spring semester. Please contact Laura Fenimore for additional information if needed at fenimore@kutztown.edu.
